Who we are

New Matters is a trading name of Next Customer Please Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 12662099), registered office 195–197 Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2SB. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form or email us, we collect what you give us: your name, firm, email address, phone number if you add it, your firm's website and your message.

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to arrange a call or prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the spam check on the form.
Google provides our email and stores a copy of each enquiry in a private spreadsheet (Google Workspace).

Both may process data outside the UK under safeguards approved for UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

If we don't go on to work together, we delete your enquiry after 24 months. If you become a client, we keep it for as long as we need it for the work and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@newmatters.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
